The Silence speaks,

More than words,

When the mind wanders,

Into the sea of thoughts,

To generate ideas,

Ideas that can change,

The world outside or inside,

An idea that can create,

Nuisance or harmony,

An idea that can enlighten,

The devil or an angel,

or

Just to revise the past,

Point by point,

To feel the pain,

Or happiness,

To travel through times,

Refreshing old rhymes

Who said, silence is silent,

It speaks louder than words,

Like a revelation,

or a celebration,

Like a sensation,

or an elation,

Silence has a lot in store,

If you can face your soul,

So, wake up to silence,

Experience the tornado,

that silently touches you,

from inside,

बरखा

प्रकृति से इश्क़ का शंखनाद है, 

मौन चित्त का वार्तालाप है,

हर बूँद में छुपा है एक राज़,

टूटे दिल का विलाप है,

सूखे होंठो की मुस्कान है,

बेघरो का एक मकान है 

कितने भाव घुले है इसमे,

एहसासो की जैसे ख़ान है,

खुशी से रोता आकाश है,

किसानो का विश्वाश है,

हज़ारों इच्छाए दिल में दबाए,

मन को करता भ्रमित, पाश है,

तड़पती रूह का इंतज़ार है,

कमसिन जवानी का प्यार है,

हज़ार रंगों का इंद्रधनुष,

नादानी का यह इज़हार है,

भीगते केशो का सूत्रधार है,

तन्हाई का यह मल्हार है,

आईना सा होता है प्रतीत,

जाने किस देव का व्यवहार है,

उलझनो का एक किनारा है,

अंधेरे का एक सितारा है,

अब तक समझ ना पाया कोई,  

इससे क्या रिश्ता हमारा है?

अंधापन

संग रह कर मेरे, एहसान कर दिया,

पल में मुझे उसने, मेहमान कर दिया,

कभी जगमगाती थी, मेरी रातें सभी, 

उसने मुझे खाली, आसमान कर दिया,

हर तरफ रहते थे, कभी मेरे ही चर्चे,  

आज कोने में पड़ा, सामान कर दिया,

देखता है मुझको कुछ इस नज़र से, 

मेरी ज़िंदगी का जैसे दान कर दिया,

आज समझा मैं कारण इसका 'साथी'

इस अंधेपन ने  मुझे, नादान कर दिया ||

कुछ नही बदलता

कहते है सब, बदलाव, सबे बड़ा सत्य है,

अच्छे अच्छे करते, इसके समक्ष नृत्य है,

पर क्या बदलता है, सिर्फ़ समय के अलावा,

क्या बदलाव को मानना, ही है एक छलावा,

बचपन में बताया था, पढ़कर मिलेगी खुशी,

खेलोगे कूदोगे तो केवल रह जाओगे दुखी,

नौकरी नही है, वो तो है खुशी का पिटारा,

इसके बिना नही चल सकता जीवन हमारा,

बहुत मेहनत की पाने को, मैने वो दुनिया,

बस बीतता गया समय, और कुछ नही किया,

आज नौकरी है, पर वो बचपन नही रहा,

साँसें चल रही है पर, जीवन किसने कहा,

आज भी देखता हूँ, मैदान में खेलते बच्‍चे,

बचपन की वो यादें, एहसास वो सच्चे,

पर आज भी नही खेल सकता संग उनके,

मिला कुछ नही शायद, बस पल ही बदले,

कौन कहता है, इंतज़ार बदल देता है समय,

मेरा ख़त्म नही हुआ इंतज़ार, ना मिली लय,

क्या ये सब किसी की सोची समझी चाल थी,

या बस एक पुतले को मिली इंसानी खाल थी,

कौन कहता है, बदलाव ही सृष्टि का नियम है,

इस जाल को, तोड़ ना पाता कोई भी संयम है,

कितनी ही रूह बस शरीर में क़ैद रह जाती है,

साँसें मिलती है उनको, ज़िंदगी कहाँ वो पाती है,

पा लेते है जो सपने, वो भी कहाँ संतुष्ट होते है,

बस आगे आगे जाने की होड़ में लगाते गोते है,

मतलब, जो बदलता है, वो बस समय होता है,

हो गये

जिनको साथ मिला, आसमान हो गये,

तन्हा रह गये जो,  वो अंजान हो गये,

रीत चलती आई यही, इस जीवन की,

पैसे जेब में भरकर, पकवान हो गये,

घिसता रहा कोई, बनने को एक हीरा,

कुछ बिन घिसे यहाँ, जवान हो गये,

चुपके से करते रहे, किताब रंगीन, 

हम रहे सामने तो, शैतान हो गये, 

बहुत कुछ छुपाए रखती है यह दीवारें,  

पाप यहाँ अपने ही, अरमान हो गये ||

Alas! This cruel world,

Don’t understand,

I am sure you all want to create stories and write poetry that would touch million hearts. But to reach here you need to do three things very profoundly:

आ ढूँढे ऐसा आसमान,

जहाँ उड़ने में ना रोक हो,

आ ढूँढे ऐसा कारवाँ,

जहाँ चलने में ना टोक हो,

आ ढूँढे ऐसा समय यहाँ,

जो धन का ना गुलाम हो,

आ ढूंढे ऐसा समा यहाँ,

जहाँ मन में केवल राम हो,

आ ढूँढे ऐसा आईना,

जिसमें प्रतिबिंम ना मेरा हो,

आ ढूँढे ऐसा लम्हा कही,

जिसमें सब कुछ ही तेरा हो,

आ ढूँढे ऐसा दाम कही,

जिसमें सब कुछ ही बिकता हो,

आ ढूंदे ऐसा कवि कही,

जो एक शब्द ना लिखता हो.

नशा

उस सुबह को, उस शाम को,

एक अप्सरा दिखी, आम को,

खोया उसकी सुंदरता में ऐसा,

भूल गया मैं जाना, काम को    

अजब सा नशा चढ़ा था मुझे,

कौन करे अब याद, राम को,

पतझड़ आया, आया सावन,

छोड़ ना सका, मैं आराम को, 

तोड़ दिए रिश्ते, तोड़े नाते,

छोड़ ना पाया, इस इनाम को,

समझा ना मैं, चाल उसकी,

ना दिया महत्व, विश्राम को,

कुछ लम्हो बाद, बची तन्हाई,

    न्योछावर हुआ सब, जाम को.     

नशा अच्छा नही, कोई भी 'साथी',

समझाओ कोई, इस आवाम को ||

Within You

The cycle of pleasure and pain,

No idea, what to attain,

Everyone is busy in thesis,

Calculating losses and gain,

Those old age wrinkles,

Whiteboard that twinkles,

Droplets that no more excites,

Alas! I hate these pimples,

The sun is sweating at work,

Lone entity, Oh! a jerk,

I will be with you forever,

Wait! What’s my perk?

The life dwindle always,

Flower never stays,

I feel like living in hell,

Lone nights, Overworked days.

Searching happiness around,

Deaf towards that sound,

Sound that rise from within,

When unheard, comes around,

That sound is peace of mind,

Everything else is unkind,

Running on the subway,

You’ll leave none behind,

Life is not to screw,

Peace is love, is dew,,

Close eyes, open yourself,

Bliss is within you.

So stand up and rise,

You hold your prize,

Everything is within you,

Universe & limitless skies.
