Any event that has ever created
anything phantom has to be seen as the destiny of an individual. Be it Buddha,
Mahatma Gandhi, Swami Vivekananda, Shubash Chandra Bose or any other historic
entity, everyone has done it alone, this is how it has been projected. Yet we
read that a team is always greater than the individuals. The Japanese are way
ahead than Indians not just because of the creative genius, but because of the teamwork
too.
Team Work? This is the biggest misnomer
in the present human contingent. As everyone wakes up with the ambition of
painting the sky, we often chose to walk alone. In relationships, work or
taking decision we have created a system that applauds individualistic approach
and we create individual heroes and sheroes. Most of us dream to become an individual
diamond rather than a beautiful garland of diamonds. You ask any young guns
about their aspiration, their answer would mostly be individualist. Is it there
fault? No, it is not. Ever since childhood we have been fed with the delicious
Biryani of being strong, and our interpretation of being strong is being alone.
We have to be strong to take care of others or to be precise our own loved
ones. But with the world shrinking with time and young individuals has now been
able to absorb vibes from all over the world, the opposite poles are becoming
weaker and hence the repulsion. The magnetic fields are decreasing in the
desire of being a free bird.
But an independent individual
should be independent, why should he blame others for his inconvenience or
failure or vice-versa? Here is the catch, there is a thin line between desires
and responsibility. Loving someone is a desire and being in love is a
responsibility. Desires are skyrocketing, but responsibilities are digging deep
into the ground.
Most educate people are worried
about uneducated rather than helping them with small things. They have a strange
belief of keeping mum about connecting the dots, whereas on the other hand the
negative act, travels with the speed of light. The educated fraternity is
becoming more and more frightening and helpless day by day. They have fear to
lose their possessions. They have fear
to lose their identity. At the time of crunch, instead of helping people around
them, few of them becomes so judgmental that it adds fuel to the fire, instead
of extinguishing it.
While none of them have the
courage to change the things around nor they know how to implement perfect
solutions in the larger scale and set everything right. Yet, everyone of them knows
what others should do. They want clean air, but want others to stop driving,
stop smoking, stop burning crackers, and
want factories to stop. When factories will stop, the people selling crackers
will have no buyers, they will cry foul about the people working there and tell
the government about their poor families and why these bans are not justified.
So what is justified? I believe everything that is not implementable is
justified. We are drowned in the deep sea of justification that gives no
solutions that can be implemented.
Very few of these intellectual
will help sponsoring a child’s education or an old age home or anything that
may help someone in need, but they have plans ready for others to execute. They
will be disturbed about black money,
liquor and cigarettes, but never give 100 Rs if found guilty of not wearing a
helmet.
Where the degrees are inflated,
so is the ego inside us, instead of uniting to grow and prosper, we choose the
easy way out. There have been always an easy way out and the easiest way out is
to find a flaw in everything, tell others that you disowned your capability
because of them. We live in an era where everyone desires of perfection, but
none has ever achieved it.
And with a glimpse of two storey
buildings, inflated pockets and egos, we believe in being a powerful speaker.
Everyone, from a Army General to a teacher, will know that every government is
fake and useless, but none of those intellectuals will show you what and how
things to be done. Every one of them will get the knowledge about the hidden
plethora of money of the industry giants and political people, but none of them
have the addresses of the needy people they, or we can help. They will have the
list of problems, but no time and no heart to implement the solutions. This is
strange but true.
With increasing social media
presence, it is to be assumed that we may have several reasons to unite and
become helping hands to each other, rather than this our mouths are becoming
bigger and our hearts are shrinking day by day. Instead of sharing a way for
making our environment better we are busy in highlighting errors and the future
mishaps which might never happen.
This era is the era of information,
interpretations is the most important weapons, we can use it to make our world
a better place and for that we have to start thinking on a broader perspective.
We have to start believing in each other. Decisions may turn right or wrong,
but if people are together, then everything will come to the place.
Well, in sports they say ‘Individual
wins you matches, team wins you tournaments’ and the same applies in everything
around us. So if we can control our mouths and listen to our hearts, we might
change everything around for the greater good.
