हो गये

जिनको साथ मिला, आसमान हो गये,

तन्हा रह गये जो,  वो अंजान हो गये,

रीत चलती आई यही, इस जीवन की,

पैसे जेब में भरकर, पकवान हो गये,

घिसता रहा कोई, बनने को एक हीरा,

कुछ बिन घिसे यहाँ, जवान हो गये,

चुपके से करते रहे, किताब रंगीन, 

हम रहे सामने तो, शैतान हो गये, 

बहुत कुछ छुपाए रखती है यह दीवारें,  

पाप यहाँ अपने ही, अरमान हो गये ||

I've been waiting for ages,

For the time,

For the rhyme,

I've been waiting for ages,

For the crime,

I've been waiting for ages,

For the chime,

Alas! This cruel world,

Don’t understand,

Alas! This cruel world,

Don’t take a stand,

Alas! This cruel world,

Don’t make a band,

Alas! This cruel world,

Don’t hold hand,

So, I’ll stand for self,

Creating new way,

So, I’ll stand for self,

For here to stay,

So, I’ll stand for self,

With hopeful ray,

So, I’ll stand for self,

And will fight and pray.
